Halloween and Grandma visit

Get ready for a long post! About 2 weeks after Finley was born my mom flew out to save the day. It is always the best when grandma comes out to visit us. We love having her here and she is super helpful. The kids are always super excited for grandma to come. Quinn loved that she was able to walk to school with grandma and they even got to go on a fun lunch date.

Leo loving on his baby sister.
First bath time with help from big sister.
I love this picture. Reading princess books with daddy before bed.
She loves her hand.
Brand new Finley. She was not interested in pictures this day.
It was fun that while my mom was here was Halloween. We were able to carve pumpkins with her and go trick or treating. We don't get to spend many holidays with family so this was a bonus to her trip. On Friday, we went trick or treating at daddy's work.

My little trick or treaters.

We met up with some friends while trick or treating.
On Saturday we went out in our neighborhood. The weather was perfect and the kids did great. Leo watched Quinn to see what he needed to do, it was very sweet.

Lazy trick or treaters!

Our first picture as a party of 5 and all my kids have their mouths wide open.
On Sunday Grandma went out with the kids and raked leaves. Grandma is so fun and the kids had a blast. Leo was so tired that he would jump into the pile of leaves and then lay there for a minute before getting up to do it again. It was a great afternoon!

Quinn was excited to take grandma to the aquarium and talked about it for weeks before she came out. So of course, we had to go to the aquarium. It was fun to show grandma around and the kids always have a great time there. Quinn refuses to do the rope bridge (I don't blame her, I don't like it either) but Leo loved it!

Finley is just too sweet. We love her very much!
I can not believe how big she is getting! She is beautiful and I love her long pretty hair.
Pretty, pretty girl
Leo still loves wearing boots.
We are so happy grandma was able to come and meet Finley and help me out so much!

Grandma with her grand babies.

Quinn said this was her "police man grandma potato head".
Leo loves football and was really happy to play football potato head.

One day, I walked out of the bathroom to find Leo halfway in Finley's crib. He loves her and always needs to know where she is. He does not like when other people hold her other than mommy.
The night before grandma left we went and got subzero ice cream. They flash freeze the ice cream in front of you. Quinn and Leo loved it. I didn't think it tasted very good but the kids had fun and it was a fun way to end grandma's visit. We love her very much and are so happy she was able to come out and spend time with us.

Grandmas are great, life is good.
