Character breakfast and beach

After taking two trips to Disney we found that after 2 days at the parks we are ready for a break. So on this trip we went to Disney then California Adventure and then did a character breakfast and went to the beach. I was really bummed because when I went to book Goofy's Kitchen it was closed for remodeling during our time at Disney. We decided to go ahead and do the Mickey Beach Breakfast and it worked out great. The food and atmosphere were not as good as Goofy's Kitchen but we went toward the end of breakfast and pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. The kids had so much fun with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Stitch. They danced with them, played ring around the rosy, it really was so much fun and Leo was the sweetest. He was IN LOVE with Mickey and we couldn't get him away from him. They brought out cupcakes for us to celebrate Quinn, Leo and Juju's birthdays. We had a fantastic morning and it was a great way to start our day.
Before we went to Disney the kids were earning "Disney Dollars" for good behavior so that they could go to the Disney Store and buy a toy during our trip. We went to Downtown Disney and they got to pick out a special gift after breakfast. Quinn picked out a Frozen jewelry box with dancing Ana and Elsa and Leo picked out a Dumbo pillow pet. It was such a great morning. We headed back to the condo to load the car and head to the beach.

At first Leo was nervous but then he had the best time. Quinn was so cute and loved dancing when the music came on.

The weather was a bit breezy and cool but we still wanted to go to the beach. It was much more windy when we got there then it had been at our condo. We still enjoyed a short trip to the beach and the kids loved the sand. It was my moms first time to see the Pacific Ocean. Even though we were cold it was great and we made some good memories. We grabbed some yummy donuts from a shop near the beach to enjoy for your drive back, which took forever. I don't ever want to live somewhere where I have to deal with the traffic like they have in California!
