Trip Home

A few weeks ago Quinn and I went home for a week. It was such a fun trip and much too short. We aren't going back until after the baby is born so that made leaving really hard this time. It is also crazy to think that next time I am home I will have 2 kids and so will my sister!
Quinn and Nolan were so cute together. They always take a few days to get used to each other and he only tackled her a couple of times. They are so funny to watch together.
We had a packed week which included Nolan's birthday party, going to a pumpkin patch and attending a friends retirement ceremony. It was nice that Dave was able to come in for a few days and spend some time at home also.
Here are some pictures of our trip.

Milton's for breakfast- who wouldn't be smiling??

She loves her pa-paw

Just comparing apps :)

We had a great time and are very happy that we got to see so many of our family and friends. The trip was too short like always! Next time we are home we will be a family of 4! I can't even imagine how that plane ride is going to be.

Evening Chat with Grandma

Quinn loves phones (maybe we are on ours too much?!) and loves to facetime with my mom. Lately every time we facetime her, Quinn asks "where's papaw?" It is too cute. Today while talking to my mom Quinn decided she wanted to sit grandma in the chair next to her and have a little chat. She then decided grandma should ride down the car track and put the phone at the top and said "ready, go!" I love technology, it really makes being away from family so much easier. It is cute to see Quinn "playing" with grandma just like she was here. We are super excited to go home next week and Quinn and grandma can really play together.

Quinn's new favorite thing to do is play daycare. It took me a couple of times of her doing this to figure out what was going on. She takes out garbage bags and lays them on the floor, then puts her dolls down, covers them with blankets and then sits between them and pats their backs. At daycare, they take naps on the floor and the teachers will pat the kids' backs when they don't go to sleep right away. She will do this forever- just moving them around and covering them up. It is so cute!!
