Hanging out at home

So as I was downloading the pictures from my camera to my computer I realized her outfits in all of these pictures are horrible! Okay the pajamas aren't horrible they are just Christmas ones.... and it is March.
I have been wanting to blog more and take more pictures of our daily ins and outs to share with far away family and friends and because Quinn is growing up too fast! I also have started to make a family book from my blogposts from when I first started and when Quinn was born. Then I plan to make one for each year of her life. I don't want to forget all of the little memories! I got my camera out the last couple of days for some random happenings in our house.
Quinn loves to eat yogurt, it may be her favorite food. Every time we give her yogurt she starts to eat it with her spoon, then uses her fingers and finally lifts up the plate and starts licking it. I crack up every time. The shorts she is wearing are super cute and have an adorable shirt that go with them-Easter gift from Aunt Danielle.

The new thing that Quinn loves is brushing her teeth. They do it at daycare everyday and we have started doing it at home as well. She gets so excited when you give her the toothbrush and she starts brushing right away. The other day I was in our bathroom getting ready and she got a toothbrush out from under the sink, got it out of the packaging and started brushing. I guess this is a good habit for her to start enjoying. We like pretty teeth in our house!

And finally Quinn loves to watch the show Car Toons on Netflix. I am not a huge sit the kiddo in front of the TV kind of person but lately it is the only way to get dinner made in our house. I get home before Dave and try to get dinner ready so that when he gets home we can eat and then enjoy our evenings. However, Quinn is into everything these days and I am constantly chasing her away from breaking something, ripping pages out of a cookbook, climbing the stairs, eating dog food, playing with water in the toilet or licking cleaning supplies. Yes-we have baby proofed our house however she can still get into almost anything she wants. Our cabinets our baby proof and she can still manage to open them! So, I resort to putting on the TV and she will sit and watch Tow Mater for about 15 minutes. Check out her awesome daycare outfit. Also Charlie knocking her over to get to her sippy cup is a daily occurrence.

We are heading to Hawaii for Spring break in 2 days so I will have some beach pictures to share on the next blog!!

Spring break is good, life is good!

12 months (a little late)

Quinn is now 13 months old! I just got around to taking her 12 month pictures. She is getting so big and so fun! We just had her 12 month appointment (also a little late) and she is in the 90th percentile for her head (that comes from her daddy), 30th percentile for height (that is probably from me) and 73rd percentile in weight (that comes from the ridiculous amount of food that child eats!). She is using the signs "milk, more, all done and eat" all the time and now says "mama and dada (with intent!), nana (banana), bye bye, dog (approximation) and "bu bu" for bubbles! I love hearing her sweet little voice. She loves playing outside, watching Charlie catch his frisbee and her baby doll. She is starting to throw tantrums when she doesn't get her way and I think they are hilarious.
When we tried to get her 12 month pictures she kept ripping the sticker off. Then Dave started tossing her into her princess chair (which she LOVES btw) and she had the biggest smile on her face. I miss her being a little baby but I love getting to see her learn new things, explore her world and hear her sweet voice. I can't wait for this summer when I can be off with her everyday to play!
