Pumpkin Patch Afternoon Fun

Yesterday we went to a pumpkin patch near our house for an afternoon of fun. Of course we had to wait until the Bengals game was done, WHO-DEY and then we headed over. The weather was beautiful. We are still pretty warm here in Utah for this time of the year and I am over it. It gets cool in the evening which is great but during the day it is still pretty warm.
The kids had so much fun. Leo loves tractors (really any truck or train) right now and as we rode on the "hay ride" (there was no hay on the trailer so it wasn't really a hay ride....) he just kept staring at the tractor and pointing to it. He also says "papaw" every time he sees a tractor.
We took the tractor out to a pumpkin patch and the kids got to pick pumpkins. The farmer came and cut them off the vine for us and we loaded onto the trailer for a ride back to the farm to play.

Getting a picture of these two together is impossible. Q is also in a phase right now where she hates to look at the camera during pictures. So we did the best we could do document our day!

They have a courtyard full of fun things for the kids to do. We got to ride on the cow train (My pregnant self sat this activity out) and I could hear Q creaming and laughing the whole time. The kids also loved the slides and Leo, our little daredevil, went down head first! We got to check out some barn animals and eat some snacks as well.

I love how pretty the mountains are in the back. I am going to miss seeing them everyday when we move, they really are beautiful.

We finished the afternoon with some kettle corn and grabbed a few small pumpkins to paint. It was such a fun afternoon and I love spending time together as a family. Quinn said her favorite part was riding on the tractor and that Leo's favorite part was playing on the slides. When we got home, daddy cut the grass and the kids and I ate ice cream on the porch and watched him. It was a great Sunday!

By the look on Leo's face, I think he enjoyed himself.

Pumpkins are good, life is good
