Leo is a happy boy

Today we were playing outside while Dave changed the battery in his car and a tractor carrying a huge load of wood came pulling down our tiny street. It stopped right across the street and Leo could not believe it! He was so happy and stood there the entire time they unloaded the wood. He was getting up out of his chair and walking to the gate then would go back to his seat. It was pretty loud but he didn't seem to mind.
Quinn came outside from painting her fairy house to join in on the fun. She has been asking to make  a fairy house all day. She has spent the entire evening painting and glueing to a shoe box in order to make the perfect fairy house. I love her little (or big!) imagination. A few fairies might have made it from the toy room into her box to surprise her in the morning.
Finley was enjoying the action as well.

Leo was so excited he couldn't stay in his seat. I took a video of this and he probably watched it 20 times after they left.

After they were done unloading we headed inside and Leo yelled (in his little Leo talk so I am going to paraphrase for you..), "no, I not watch the tractor weave yet!" It was the sweetest thing ever. He sat outside while the man went into our neighbors house, I am assuming to get paid, until he came back out and loaded up and pulled off. He waved to Leo and honked before he left. Leo came inside after the tractor was gone. It was an unexpected exciting evening for us and especially for Leo. He is into everything train, tractor, truck, car right now so this was super fun for him. I love watching how excited he is about these things. I love having a little boy!!

Tractors are good, life is good.
