Fall Update

I am trying to get caught up on the blog so this post is a picture dump with captions!
Finley came home from the hospital and the craziness began. Dave was able to take off his 10 days of paternity leave which was amazing and then my mom flew in just a few days after he went back to work which was also amazing! This is a picture of "brand new" Finley. She has already changed so much!

Hanging out with Quinn in the car. She got moved to the back "big girl seat" after Finley arrived and she is loving it. Our car is still working out for us so no need for a mini van yet!

When Dave was home still we took the kids bowling one afternoon because we had been holed up in the house for several days. I think we all needed to get out and the kids had so much fun. Finley slept the entire time which made it easier on me! We are slowly getting better at getting out of the house in a decent time!
Quinnie loves her umbrella. Anytime it is raining or even looks like rain she makes sure she has it. I can't believe how grown up she is looking and acting these days. Even Leo seems much older once we brought home Fin. He was just a baby and now he really acts like a toddler. I am so impressed with how he has handled bring baby sister home. He loves her very much and always makes sure he knows where she is. He wants to hold her and is happy to share his mommy (most of the time!). Quinn loves Halloween and this year we had lights all the way down our driveway. She loved turning them on at night and I think they made the house look very festive!

This is Leo in the backyard riding on Charlie. He loves to go outside and play with Charlie when I make dinner. He throws his frisbee and just chases him around. Charlie is the best dog and will let Leo do anything he wants. I know Leo is safe back there with Charlie too.

We went with some of our friends to a halloween party at My Gym. We left Finley home with daddy and I couldn't believe how much easier it was to leave the house with only 2! The kids had a great time and I was able to spend some time with my dear friend Erin, so it was a win-win!
Aunt Danielle sent us some yummy cookies! She is the best!
My girls. Quinn looks so old here. I think she is going to grow up to be a beautiful girl!
Finley is on the left and Quinn on the right. They look very much alike in person! I love how Finley can wear Quinn's clothes. I always go back to when Quinn wore the outfit and its a fun trip down memory lane.
Quinn had her first field trip with school. Dave went with her since Finley was so new and I needed to rest. She had a great time at the pumpkin patch with her friends and daddy. He said he was the only male at the entire pumpkin patch and I love him for that. Quinn loves her daddy and so do I! Leo and I rested in bed and watched choo-choo trains.

Beautiful rainbow over the mountains. I am going to miss Utah so much when we leave, I have really grown to love this place!
Quinn loves to hold Finley.
She is the cutest.
More selfies with this little guy.
Leo loves to carry around anything stick like. He is obsessed with brooms, golf clubs or in this case, the stick from a horse toy. It can be pretty dangerous!
We carved pumpkins one evening after grandma arrived and Leo was not interested at all. He kept saying "eww" and "no thank you" when Dave asked him if he wanted to help. Quinn was a little more interested this year but did more watching than participating.

After carving pumpkins we snuggled on the couch with popcorn and watched Tangled. We love when grandma is here and we were so thankful that she came out after Fin was born to help!

Coloring with grandma.
On my bucket list has always been to see Garth Brooks in concert. He came to Salt Lake when my mom was in town so we had to go! It was our first date post Finley and it was amazing!! We sat behind the stage which I was a little nervous about but our seats ended up being amazing. Dave isn't a huge country fan to say the least but he was a great sport and thought the show was pretty good.

And I think the look on Leo's face in this picture says it all- that is enough for one post! Life has been busy but I would not have it any other way. I feel so blessed to have 3 beautiful, healthy babies and wonderful family and friends!

Fall is good, life is good.

Painting pumpkins

This blog I started a few weeks ago and ever got around to finishing it. I am a little busy right now and blogging is not high on the priority list (because it isn't screaming at me, crying or climbing on the counters... it doesn't need my attention RIGHT NOW!). Before Halloween Leo wanted to wear his costume all the time and I thought he was the cutest little dragon that there ever was. He also is loving airplanes right now.

Quinn wanted to wear this dress forever but we had really warm weather this Fall and she was so excited when she could finally wear it. (Please ignore the pile of laundry on the floor that never got folded. I swear no matter how much I do laundry, there is always more!!) Leo LOVES LOVES LOVES Quinn's boots. My mom got him a pair of boy boots and he likes to wear them but he still enjoys putting on Q's. I think he looks cute no matter what he wears.

The last picture I got to take before Finley arrived was my 37 week picture. On week 38 picture day she arrived. I should have got a picture when we were going into the hospital but I was kind of freaking out and didn't think about it! Everybody wanted to be in the picture again this week.

After talking Q out of being a dolphin for Halloween (because you can NOT find a dolphin costume) we found this cute witch outfit that she loved. She even would do the cutest little witch cackle.
The picture of her sleeping was one evening when she "wasn't tired." I don't remember what we did that day but I thought it was the cutest, hand in the popcorn and she is out!

A few days before Finley joined the family we painted pumpkins or if you are Leo, you paint yourself. The kids had a lot of fun but it was a lot of clean up for mom!
The next pictures crack me up. They are the sequence of Leo deciding to dip his paint brush into the paint and then eating it. I hope it is non toxic!

Baths were required after painting pumpkin fun.

These kids really have my whole heart. They are funny, caring and always keep me on my toes.
