I have been wanting to blog more and take more pictures of our daily ins and outs to share with far away family and friends and because Quinn is growing up too fast! I also have started to make a family book from my blogposts from when I first started and when Quinn was born. Then I plan to make one for each year of her life. I don't want to forget all of the little memories! I got my camera out the last couple of days for some random happenings in our house.
Quinn loves to eat yogurt, it may be her favorite food. Every time we give her yogurt she starts to eat it with her spoon, then uses her fingers and finally lifts up the plate and starts licking it. I crack up every time. The shorts she is wearing are super cute and have an adorable shirt that go with them-Easter gift from Aunt Danielle.
The new thing that Quinn loves is brushing her teeth. They do it at daycare everyday and we have started doing it at home as well. She gets so excited when you give her the toothbrush and she starts brushing right away. The other day I was in our bathroom getting ready and she got a toothbrush out from under the sink, got it out of the packaging and started brushing. I guess this is a good habit for her to start enjoying. We like pretty teeth in our house!
And finally Quinn loves to watch the show Car Toons on Netflix. I am not a huge sit the kiddo in front of the TV kind of person but lately it is the only way to get dinner made in our house. I get home before Dave and try to get dinner ready so that when he gets home we can eat and then enjoy our evenings. However, Quinn is into everything these days and I am constantly chasing her away from breaking something, ripping pages out of a cookbook, climbing the stairs, eating dog food, playing with water in the toilet or licking cleaning supplies. Yes-we have baby proofed our house however she can still get into almost anything she wants. Our cabinets our baby proof and she can still manage to open them! So, I resort to putting on the TV and she will sit and watch Tow Mater for about 15 minutes. Check out her awesome daycare outfit. Also Charlie knocking her over to get to her sippy cup is a daily occurrence.
We are heading to Hawaii for Spring break in 2 days so I will have some beach pictures to share on the next blog!!
Spring break is good, life is good!
